Hospitality Training - Pilot & Nationwide Scalable Model

Stichting Economische Samenwerking Noord-Nederland (ESNN) develops and facilitates practical hospitality day training courses for hospitality workers in Groningen. The training courses focus on professionalism, sustainable employability, hospitality and strengthening workplace skills.

Aim

The aim of the project is to strengthen hospitality staff by offering accessible, directly applicable day training courses that contribute to retention, development and intake within the sector. In addition, it is working on a transferable training model that can also be used more widely within other regions in the Netherlands.

Result

Within the project, free customised hospitality day training courses will be developed and offered through the platform Horeca Leren (horecaleren.nl). The trainings are practice-oriented and aimed at strengthening skills and professional knowledge within the hospitality industry where 200 to 250 participants will be trained during the project.
