Confidential advisor (internal/external)

Introduction

Training of internal confidential advisers and availability of external confidential advisers to enhance social safety in the hospitality industry.

Target

Social safety is an important issue in society and also in the hospitality sector.

The aim of this project is to help hospitality entrepreneurs and employees create a safe working environment. This is done by training internal confidential counsellors and offering external confidential counsellors. This way, employees can always turn to a competent and independent point of contact.

This is important for being a good employer and contributes to a pleasant working atmosphere. The project helps to reduce undesirable behaviour and raise awareness.

Target

Employers and employees in the hospitality sector.

Result

The project produces two outcomes:

  • Internal confidants training: 150 people attend a 4-day training course to be a point of contact for social safety within their company.
  • External confidants: Hospitality employees can turn to an external confidential counsellor. This is especially important for small businesses that do not have an internal facility.

This approach strengthens social safety in the hospitality industry. Employees feel safer to make reports, and entrepreneurs get practical support.
