Introduction
This project supports and informs employees and employers in effectively designing and strengthening co-determination in the workplace. Through practical guidance and information, we increase knowledge about consultation structures and build sustainable social dialogue in the hospitality industry.
Target
This project increases knowledge and support around employee participation and offers practical support in setting up or strengthening employee participation bodies, such as a works council or employee representation. A solid consultation structure contributes to better working conditions, more involved employees and a sustainable social dialogue within companies.
Target
This project targets employees and workers in training within the hospitality industry.
Result
The project contributes to a strengthened culture of co-determination in the hospitality industry. Employees gain more knowledge and confidence to make their voices heard, and employers are better equipped to work together with their staff on healthy, safe and future-proof working conditions.
Specifically, it does so by:
- Identification and analysis of where employee participation is lacking or needs strengthening.
- Information and activation through company visits, webinars, physical meetings and online information material.
- Training and coaching of (new and existing) works councils and employee representatives with workshops, coaching and intervision, aimed at consultation skills and sustainable consultation structures.
- Networking and knowledge sharing, including through a national theme day and setting up an online knowledge bank with Q&A and practical examples.
- Evaluation and safeguarding with feedback, learning points and recommendations for further development in 2027.
