Introduction
A regional campaign puts Roermond's hospitality scene in the spotlight — and paves the way for a national rollout.
Target
A pilot campaign is starting in Roermond to improve the image of working in the hospitality industry. The campaign targets young people, parents and employees and shows how social, educational and versatile the profession is. At the same time, a flexible deployment platform is being developed that can easily be adapted for other cities or regions. This project lays the foundation for a broader, national approach that helps every hospitality region recruit new talent and raise positive awareness of the profession.
Target
Young people looking for work, employees in the hospitality industry, and parents/carers in the Roermond region.
Result
An online and social media campaign full of recognisable stories, team spirit and job satisfaction. All participating hotel and catering businesses will have a spot on the website, with a link to their own vacancy pages. The set-up and resources (such as videos, texts and formats) are developed in such a way that they can be reused and deployed in other municipalities/regions. This way, other regions do not have to reinvent the wheel.
