Introduction
The Frisian hospitality sector is joining forces to shape the labour market of the future through innovation, education and a strong image.
Target
The hospitality sector in Fryslân faces considerable challenges in terms of the labour market, image and innovation. The sector largely consists of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) that often do not have the capacity to independently invest in training or innovation. To address these bottlenecks, this project was launched.
Target
- Entrepreneurs in the Frisian hospitality sector especially SMEs.
- Workers and students within the sector
- Educational institutions (mbo and hbo)
- HRM managers and training companies
- Policy and network partners within Gastvrij Fryslân.
Result
The project provides concrete resources and insights that directly strengthen the sector, including:
- A sustainable network: The public-private partnership is developed into a lasting network that acts together in labour market development, innovation and image.
- Increased attractiveness as an employer: Through campaigns and practical stories, the sector is positioned as a proud and future-oriented working environment. This should lead to more inflow and retention of employees.
- Culture of lifelong development: There will be flexible learning and development paths where training and work practice are better aligned.
- Innovation and digitalisation: Entrepreneurs are supported in applying new technologies and digital tools to improve business processes and sustainability.
- Securing knowledge: All developed knowledge, tools and content will remain publicly available afterwards via www.gastvrijfryslan.nl, so that the results are structurally secured.
The results of the project - including knowledge, tools and content - are freely accessible via the online platform www.gastvrijfryslan.nl. In addition, the knowledge gained and materials developed can also be shared outside the province of Friesland.
Duration
