The hospitality collective agreement will be rewritten in understandable language so that everyone knows what they are entitled to.
Target
The collective agreement text is often legal and difficult to understand. In this project, the catering collective agreement is being rewritten in clear B1 language. This will help employees better understand their rights and make it easier for employers to apply the CBA. There will also be one uniform layout, so that the text is recognisable and usable for everyone.

Employers and employees in the hospitality industry.
Result
A rewritten version of the Horeca CLA in understandable language. The new version will be published on the website of KHN, De Horecabond, CNV and any other information channels affiliated to collective bargaining parties.
The collective labour agreement is also offered in a user-friendly app (in Dutch and English). This makes information on terms of employment better and easier to find for anyone working in the hospitality industry.
The result is a collective agreement that is accessible and understandable to all.
